The green iguana is an invasive species in Puerto Rico. Introduced as pets in the early 80's, their large size and territorial behavior took great advantage over the lack of natural predators. Today, is an estimated population of 8MM, iguana hunters from all over the island fight every day to control this plague. Farms and irrigation canals are the main targets of this aggressive iguana population expansion.
In 2016, our first guides established the first organized hunting business in order to collaborate saving the farms and infrastructure. Now, armed with the best and most powerful airguns in the market, our visitors are living a new hunting experience. Hunting with the purpose of protecting our local products and species in a non-stopping action day is an experience of a lifetime.
